A Student Visa allows foreign nationals to study legally in the United States at accredited educational institutions, such as universities, colleges, high schools, and language programs. There are two main types of student visas:

Who Can Apply for a Student Visa?
To be eligible for a Student Visa, you must:
✅ Be accepted by a SEVP-approved school (Student and Exchange Visitor Program).
✅ Obtain the Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status) from your school.
✅ Prove sufficient financial resources to cover tuition and living expenses.
✅ Show intent to return to your home country after completing your studies.
✅ Attend an interview at the U.S. embassy or consulate and obtain visa approval.

A Student Visa allows you to stay in the U.S. for the duration of your academic program, with the possibility of work authorization under specific conditions, such as on-campus jobs or Optional Practical Training (OPT) after graduation.
